First, oblique sling exercise can be simply defined as exercise that transfers force through the trunk (core) to produce rotational movements in order to activate our anterior (front) and posterior (back) slings that run from opposite shoulder to opposite hip.
This allows us to achieve ultimate stabilization (series 3 video) and functional joint centration (series 2 video) across several joints in the body. It is the muscular and fascial aspects of slings that make crawling, throwing, and swinging possible for us to perform.
